Why do you look at me so?

Tell me.

Do I have spinach in my teeth?

Tell me.

When you look at me,

What do you see?

Tell me.

Do you see past my physical?

Reveal to me.

When I walk in, you look up, then down.

Do I shame you?

Your eyes I see,

At the corner of my eyes-

Always on me.

Do those eyes work?

Or I’m I mistaken?

Tell me.

What do you see?

Wonder?

Do you look to see or to haunt?

In your eyes I see,

I see pleading,

Please

Or is it,

Is it innocent loss of focus?

Tell me

Tell me what you see.
